Install ClubPal as an app on an Apple or Android device so members can open it from their home screen.

ClubPal is a website, but it can also be installed as an app on your phone or tablet. Below are instructions for Apple and Android devices.

Once installed, ClubPal behaves like a native app:

  • Opens in its own window, with no browser address bar or tabs.
  • Uses your club's own icon and colours on the Home Screen and app switcher.
  • Appears alongside your other apps, not just as a browser bookmark.

Administrators can customise the icon shown on the Home Screen; see App icon in Club branding.

Apple devices

Follow the steps below to add ClubPal to your iPhone or iPad Home Screen:

  1. Open Safari and navigate to your club's ClubPal homepage, e.g. https://demo.clubpal.app/.
  2. Tap the Share
    icon on the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Select Add to Home Screen from the menu.
  4. Optional: update the name of the app icon.
  5. Tap Add. The icon is added to your Home Screen; tapping it opens ClubPal as its own app.

Android devices

Follow the steps below to add ClubPal to your Android Home screen:

  1. Open Chrome and navigate to your club's ClubPal homepage, e.g. https://demo.clubpal.app/.
  2. Tap the Menu
    icon.
  3. Select Install app (or Add to Home Screen, depending on your Chrome version).
  4. Confirm the install. The icon is added to your Home Screen; tapping it opens ClubPal as its own app.
