Club nights that pay for the hall
A sports hall and a tube of shuttles cost the same whether twelve players turn up or twenty four. Take bookings against real court space, and the fee with them.

Four courts, two hours, and a hall bill
Most badminton clubs own nothing. They hire a sports hall by the hour, buy shuttles by the tube, and hope enough people turn up on a wet Thursday to cover both. The treasurer collects a few pounds a head at the door and finds out afterwards whether the night made money.
ClubPal turns a club night into a session with a real capacity. Four courts support a known number of players before the wait to get on becomes the main event, so cap the night at that, take the fee at the point of booking, and let a waiting list fill the gaps when someone drops out. A session can carry a different price per membership package, so members and visitors are each charged the right amount.
League teams run as their own groups, junior coaching sells as a block of weeks, and subs renew across adult, junior, student and social categories with eligibility rules attached.

The whole club's week, on one calendar
Sessions and club events sit on one calendar that every member can open on their phone. They book a place, pay in the same step when there is a fee, and the register is ready before anyone arrives.
Pictured is a demo club's week. Yours is set up the same way: create a session once, repeat it weekly, and cap it at the places you really have.

Questions from badminton clubs
Is ClubPal free for badminton clubs?
There is no subscription, no per-member charge and no feature tier. A club that takes no payments through ClubPal pays nothing at all. When you do take money, the fee is 20p + 3.5% per transaction with card processing already included.
Can members and visitors pay different prices for a club night?
Yes. A session has a standard cost, and you can set a different price for each membership package. Someone on a package with a price set pays that, and everyone else pays the standard cost.
Can we cap a club night by the number of courts?
Capacity is a number of players that you set per session, so a four court night and a six court night are capped differently. When it fills, later bookers join a waiting list and are promoted as places free up.
Does ClubPal run league fixtures and results?
No. ClubPal does not schedule fixtures or keep league tables. It handles the club side of league play: teams as groups, messages to one team, and fees requested and tracked. A form can collect match results if you want them in one place.
Can we record Badminton England membership?
Yes, in a custom profile field. ClubPal is not connected to Badminton England, so the club records the number rather than it being checked against their system.
