Referral Programme Terms and Conditions

Overview

ClubPal Ltd (“ClubPal”, “we”, “us”) runs a referral programme that rewards anyone who introduces a new club to ClubPal, where that introduction leads to a signup that goes on to take payments. “Club” here means any organisation or individual that signs up to ClubPal.

A plain-English summary of how it works is on the referral programme page. Where that page and these terms differ, these terms apply.

Who can take part

The programme is open to anyone: existing ClubPal users, club committee members, coaches, instructors, or members of the public who simply know someone who would benefit from ClubPal.

It does not apply to ClubPal employees, or to paid contractors or similar engaged to work on ClubPal's behalf. If you are unsure whether this applies to you, ask us before referring.

What counts as a valid referral

A referral is valid if:

• it is a genuinely new club that was not already in active discussion with ClubPal at the time of the referral; and
• the referred club goes on to sign up and process a first payment through ClubPal.

There is no restriction on who can refer whom. If you sit on the committee of one club and want to bring across another club you are involved with, that is fine; you did the work of convincing them, and the reward is yours.

How to make a referral

Tell us before, or at the point of, the referred club signing up. You can do this either by:

• emailing us at referrals@clubpal.app with the referrer's name and the club being referred; or
• having the referred club name you in the “How did you hear about ClubPal?” field when they sign up.

We rely on this being accurate. We do not use referral links or tracking codes for this programme.

The reward

There is no limit to the number of times you can refer; every valid, successful referral earns a reward.

When you will be paid

We pay out 28 days after the referred club's first payment is successfully processed. This gives us time to confirm the payment was not refunded or reversed. If it is refunded or reversed within that window, the referral does not qualify.

Our discretion

We may refuse, withhold, or reclaim a reward, or exclude someone from the programme, where we reasonably suspect abuse, fraud, a false or misleading referral claim, or any attempt to game these terms.

Decisions on whether a referral is valid are made by ClubPal and are final.

Changes and withdrawal

This programme is ongoing, but we may change the reward amount, eligibility, or any other term, or withdraw the programme entirely, at any time, at our discretion.

Changes apply to referrals made after the change is published. Any referral made in good faith before a change will still be honoured under the terms that applied at the time.

Tax

Any tax treatment of the reward is the referrer's own responsibility. If you are unsure how a voucher of this kind affects your own tax position, we would suggest checking with an accountant, particularly if you refer regularly.
