Your courts booked, without the subscription

Court booking with peak pricing and separate member rates, box leagues, subs and coaching, in one place. ClubPal charges nothing monthly, at any club size.

Court booking software a volunteer club can afford

Most squash clubs are two to four courts run by a committee of volunteers, and the court sheet is either paper on the clubhouse wall or a shared calendar with a WhatsApp group arguing over it. The specialist booking platforms solve that properly, and charge a monthly subscription to do it. For a fifty member club that subscription is often the single largest fixed cost the club carries, larger than affiliation: since August 2024 England Squash charges clubs per court rather than per player, at £75 a court capped at six.

ClubPal takes the other approach and charges nothing monthly at all. Each court gets its own availability, peak windows set by day and time, a changeover buffer, and its own cancellation and refund rules. A member, a junior and a guest can be quoted three different prices for the same forty minutes, resolved from the booker's own membership at checkout, so nobody has to police it on the door.

Around the courts, subs renew across playing, junior, student and social categories with eligibility rules attached, box leagues and club nights run as sessions with a real cap and a waiting list, coaching sells as a block of weeks paid upfront, and the club website is included rather than being a second subscription.

Peak windows on every court
Weekday evenings priced separately from a dead Tuesday morning, set per court by day and time rather than one rate for the whole club.
Member, junior and guest rates
Three prices for the same forty minutes, resolved from the booker's own membership when they pay. No door policy for a volunteer to enforce.
A £7 court fee worth taking online
One flat 20p + 3.5% per transaction with card processing included, so small court fees survive being taken by card instead of going in a tin.
Paying monthly for booking?
A subscription does not care whether your courts got used
What a booking subscription costs

The specialist court booking platforms are good at the job. The problem for a small club is the shape of the bill rather than the size of it.

The same monthly fee in January as in September
Usually billed twelve months up front, and often in US dollars
Payment processing charged on top, separately
What ClubPal costs instead

One rate, charged only when a court is actually paid for, and nothing at all in a month where the club takes nothing.

No subscription, at any club size
20p + 3.5% when a member pays for a court, card processing included
The whole fee returned to the club when you refund a booking

Built for how a squash club actually runs

A court sheet that takes money
Each court with its own availability and a changeover buffer, plus a fifteen minute hold at checkout so two members cannot take the same slot.
Cancellation and refund windows
Set how late a member can drop a court and what they get back. Refund in full and the whole ClubPal fee comes back to the club as well.
Box leagues and club nights
Run a club night or a league round as a session with a real cap and a waiting list that promotes the next player automatically when someone pulls out.
Playing, junior, student and social subs
Each with its own price and renewal date, and eligibility rules so a junior cannot buy an adult playing membership by accident.
Message one box, not the club
Email a single league box about a fixture without mailing all fifty members, with GDPR-compliant tooling built in.
Court usage and income together
Which slots fill and which never do, next to what came in, so the committee can price peak time on evidence rather than on argument.

This page is the short version. Double bookings, no-shows, peak pricing and what a club should actually charge for a court are worked through in the full guide to facility hire bookings.
