Refer a club, earn £50
Most clubs find us because another club told them about us. Now we say thank you for that. Introduce a club, and when they sign up and take their first payment through ClubPal, we send you a £50 Amazon voucher. Every time.
How it works
Three steps, no codes
There are no referral links to share and nothing to track. Tell us who you are introducing, and we do the rest.
Tell us who you are referring
Email referrals@clubpal.app with your name and the club, before or when they sign up. Or have them put your name in the "How did you hear about ClubPal?" box on the signup form.
They sign up and take a payment
The referral counts once the club has signed up and processed its first payment through ClubPal. Signing up alone is not enough.
We send your voucher
28 days after that first payment clears, a £50 Amazon.co.uk voucher (or €50 on Amazon.ie if you are in Ireland) lands in your inbox.
The reward
£50 per club, as many times as you like
A £50 Amazon.co.uk gift voucher for every club you introduce that signs up and takes its first payment. If you are based in Ireland, it is a €50 Amazon.ie voucher instead.
We pay out 28 days after that first payment, once we know it has not been refunded or reversed. The club you refer pays nothing extra: ClubPal has no subscription, and the referral changes nothing about what they are charged.
Email a referralAnyone can refer
Committee members, coaches, members, or someone who simply knows a club that could use the help. You do not need a ClubPal account.
No limit
Every valid referral earns a voucher. Refer three clubs and three vouchers follow. There is no cap and no tiering.
Your own clubs count
Sit on the committee of one club and want to bring across another you are involved with? That is a referral. You did the convincing.
No links or codes
We match referrals by name, not by tracking link. Tell us before or at the point of signup and we take it from there.
Genuinely new clubs
The club must not already be in active discussion with us when you refer it. If they have been talking to us for a month, the referral will not qualify.
Not for ClubPal staff
Employees, contractors and anyone else working on ClubPal’s behalf are excluded. Not sure whether that is you? Ask before you refer.
Making a referral
Two ways to tell us
Either works. Both need to happen before, or at the point of, the club signing up. We cannot attach a referral to a club that is already using ClubPal.
You email us
Send a note to referrals@clubpal.app with your name, the club you are referring, and a contact there if you have one. That is all we need.
They name you at signup
The signup form asks “How did you hear about ClubPal?”. If the club puts your name there, we will match it to you. Ask them to include your club as well if your name is a common one.
Referral questions
Does it have to be a sports club?
No. Any new ClubPal signup that goes on to take payments through ClubPal counts, whatever they call themselves.
What if the club was already talking to you?
Then it is not a valid referral. The programme rewards introductions, so a club already in active discussion with ClubPal at the time you refer it does not qualify. If you are not sure, email us and ask before you make the introduction.
When exactly do I get paid?
28 days after the referred club’s first payment is successfully processed. The wait is so we can confirm the payment was not refunded or reversed. If it is, within that window, the referral does not qualify.
What if the club signs up but never takes a payment?
Then there is no reward yet. A signup on its own does not qualify; the first processed payment is what triggers it. There is no time limit on that, so if they start taking payments six months later the referral still counts.
I am in Ireland. Do I get a euro voucher?
Yes. Referrers based in Ireland receive a €50 Amazon.ie voucher instead of the £50 Amazon.co.uk one.
Do I need to pay tax on the voucher?
That is between you and your tax authority, and it depends on your circumstances. We do not deduct anything. If you refer regularly it is worth a quick check with an accountant.
Can the programme change or end?
Yes, at any time. Any referral made in good faith before a change is honoured under the terms that applied when you made it. The full terms are on the referral terms page.
Got a club in mind?
Send us their name today. The full programme terms are short, and worth a read before you do.
