Teamer closed on 5 October. Here is where to go next
Pitchero shut Teamer down on Monday 5 October 2026 with no export tool, so nothing carried across on its own. Here is how to rebuild your club's list, what ClubPal does that Teamer did not, and whether it is the right landing spot.
A free app has closed, and nothing exported
On Wednesday 5 August 2026 Pitchero emailed every Teamer organiser to say the platform would close on Monday 5 October 2026, and it did, late that morning. Their reason, in their own words, is that they are "unable to make the level of long-term investment required to continue operating Teamer sustainably" and are focusing on Pitchero and PitcheroGPS instead.
The part that caught most clubs out was not the date. It was that there was never a way to get data out. Pitchero's own FAQ said plainly: "Unfortunately, there are no export tools to make a team's events and members lists portable to a new system." The closure notice now on teamer.net confirms that "Teamer, along with all team pages, accounts and stored data, is no longer available." Member lists, event history and messages have gone, including contact details clubs relied on for safeguarding or membership records.
If your club did not copy its list out in time, you are not starting from nothing. Team group chats, managers' phone contacts, your Stripe account and your league registrations usually hold most of it between them. The numbers, as far as they are public
There is no cost table here. Teamer was free, its Premium tier was cancelled during September 2026 to stop billing rolling into October, and there is no live product left to price against. Ours is below in full, so you can weigh it against whichever replacement you are considering.
If your club took payments through Teamer, check that any money owed to the club settled into its bank account, and check your October statement to confirm Premium billing actually stopped. Your payment records are in your club's own Stripe account, not in Teamer, so they survived the closure.

What is the best alternative to Teamer?

Teamer closed on Monday 5 October 2026, as Pitchero announced on 5 August 2026. New registrations, new teams, new app downloads and new payment provider links were switched off ahead of the closure, and teamer.net now shows a closure notice pointing users to Pitchero.
